The Wilderness – your dream holiday cottage for hen parties!

The location of the holiday cottage is perfect for hen parties. Close to main line stations and motorways so it’s easy for all the girls to get together. The village of Heywood itself is tranquil and rural yet Bath is just 20 minutes away. We have an arrangement with a minibus company who will take you all into Bath, wait and return for a very reasonable price.

The cottage itself provides the cosy ambience perfect for old friends to get together and chat over a glass or two. We work with local suppliers to provide a range of services available to our special hens. These include beauty therapy, massage, outdoor activities, minibus service and private catering, see extras.  A very popular day out has been the bicycle pub-crawl/dinner evening leaving from and ending at The Lock Inn at Bradford-on-Avon.
