Westbury White Horse – Carved in chalk downs. Stunning views & excellent for walking & cycling. The wind ensures this is always a great place to fly a kite, and at weekends the sky is often full of hang gliders and paragliders.
Bradford-on-Avon – Historic Saxon Town on the Kennet & Avon canal. Spend a day wandering the narrow hillside streets and sample the delights of some wonderful old English pubs ! Also some fine restaurants.
Salisbury – A lovely city with a magnificent medieval cathedral from the 13th century. One of the finest Cities in South West England.
